This all applies if the page background is white. I know the office apps allow you to enable a black background theme across all of the apps, but when using Word I would like for the actual page to be black (or grey) without having to change the actual page color before starting or after finishing each document. Changing the background to Black with White Text in Word can help prevent strain on your eyes especially if youre working in a dark room or the 'blue' light is hard on your eyes. What it really does is disable the ‘Switch Modes’ button on the ribbon and leave the edit area with a white background.
